As I write, my mom is crossing the Caribbean to arrive in Lima!!! I can't BELIEVE I will be greeting her at the airport early tomorrow.  I can't wait for her to meet my host family, and I can't wait for our travels to Arequipa, a far-away region of Peru I have been dying to visit!
